Registering
How do I register?
Fill in the registration form and choose your course. The administration reviews it, then sends you a link on WhatsApp to enter the portal and choose your password.
My course isn’t on the list. What do I do?
Choose “Other — not in the list” on the registration form and write the course code and its English name as your university writes them. If we have a trainer for it we add it and register you; if not, we tell you why.
Do you teach students from universities other than Qatar University?
Yes. We teach students of universities in Qatar and beyond. Search for your course by its code, and if it isn’t there, tell us about it.
Classes and recordings
Are the classes live or recorded?
Classes are live on Zoom, on a timetable, and every class is recorded. You can attend live, or study from the recordings in the portal.
How is a course divided?
As the university divides it: the midterm stage (MID), then the final stage (FINAL), and in some courses a practical stage (PRACT). Each stage has its own classes and its own package.
Do you do homework or projects?
No. We explain the material and practise similar questions with you so you can solve them yourself. We don’t do graded homework, projects or exams.
Paying
How do I pay?
Each stage has a package you pay at once or in two payments, or you pay class by class. Pay by Fawran, SADAD, bank transfer, cash, or by card from the portal. The portal always shows what you have paid and what is left.
What’s the difference between a package and paying by the class?
A package is one price for the whole stage, lower than its classes taken one by one. Paying by the class suits someone who takes only some classes. Each stage’s prices are on the course page.
Do I get my money back if I stop?
The refund and credit policy decides: money paid ahead is credit on its stage, and what is left is settled at the end of the course. Bonuses and discounts are not refunded. The details are in the policy.
The student portal
What’s in the student portal?
Your classes, their times and the Zoom link, the recordings and summaries, what you have paid and what is left, your invoices, and your certificate when it is issued. You can add it to your phone’s home screen like an app.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Message the administration on WhatsApp and they will send you a new link to choose a new password.
Certificates
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Complete every stage of the course and pass it, and you receive a certificate of completion with a number and a QR code anyone can check. It records that you took the course with us; it is not a university qualification.
